Hot Young Performers Team with Chooka Boots for Charity-

Kent, WA, May 29th, 2004- Chooka sheepskin boots, a brand of the Seattle based Washington Shoe Company, sponsored the KHTS 93.3 concert, "Your Show 5" at the Coors Amphitheater near San Diego on Friday, May 14th. Many hot young artists were among the performers, including Hilary Duff, Jessica Simpson, Maroon 5, Black Eyed Peas, Nick Cannon, Fountains of Wayne, Evan & Jaron, Kimberley Locke, Ryan Duarte, Busted, and Brandy. Coors Amphitheater was filled to near capacity, with close to 16,000 fans in attendance.

Before the concert, artists demonstrated their support by signing several pairs of Chooka Boots to be auctioned off for charity. Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff, Evan & Jaron, Nick Cannon, Maroon 5, and Kimberley Locke were among the artists who signed boots. The signed Chookas will be raffled off to listeners, with the proceeds going directly to AJ's Kids. AJ's Playhouse is the morning show at 93.3 in San Diego- and AJ's Kids donates toys and money to a local children's hospital.
