Chairman
Rob has worked for his father and uncle, joining the company in 1974 where he excelled at relationship building and sales. Rob acquired the company in 1990 and at that time, the company was primarily run by him and his wife out of a small warehouse in downtown Seattle. He shifted the focus to rubber boots, introducing 3D character boots for kids that remain best-sellers for Western Chief.
Rob worked hard over the years overseeing every aspect of the business. The success of the company today is all due to his perseverance. In 2015 Rob moved into his current Chairman position and continues to provide creative input.

Karl represents the fourth-generation of the Moehring family leading Washington Shoe. He grew up around the business and joined it fulltime in 2002. He has held just about every role over the years from shipper clerk, sales representative, to his previous role as CFO.
Since taking on the role of CEO in 2015 the company has continued to break annual sales records. Under his leadership he has focused on fostering a great family culture while building a world class footwear company. Each employee is considered an extension of the family. He strongly believes in the servant leadership approach.

Mark works closely with some of our top accounts that he’s created rapport with for years. He’s also President of our nonprofit, the Wear A Big Smile Foundation, where he cultivates relationships with many local nonprofits and shelters.
He’s been in the shoe business since he started with Washington Shoe Company in 1993. He began selling shoes over the phone and shipping in the afternoon alongside his father, Rob Moehring. He has a wealthy of knowledge and has worked almost every job at the company from unloading containers in the warehouse to frequent trips to China.

He and his team oversee all things finance and operations related at Washington Shoe Company. The operations and warehouse teams make sure the right product gets delivered to the right customer at the right time.
Nick has over 15 years of experience in finance and operations and comes from a professional services background. Before joining the company in 2015, he worked with companies in consumer products, aerospace, technology, and financial services industries. His areas of expertise include financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, process improvement and software implementation projects.

Sara plans, manages, and executes the product assortments for all brands. She closely follows the competitive landscape, writes seasonal line plans, and analyzes the business to formulate merchandising strategies.
With over 15 years of retail experience at Nordstrom Inc., Sara specializes in footwear and designer apparel. While working there, she held multiple leadership positions including Multi-Channel Buyer for Women’s Salon Shoes, Multi-Channel Buy Planner for Women’s Contemporary Shoes and National Assistant Buyer Women's European Designer Sportswear. Sara joined Washington Shoe Company in 2018

Sara plans, manages, and executes the product assortments for all brands. She closely follows the competitive landscape, writes seasonal line plans, and analyzes the business to formulate merchandising strategies.
With over 15 years of retail experience at Nordstrom Inc., Sara specializes in footwear and designer apparel. While working there, she held multiple leadership positions including Multi-Channel Buyer for Women’s Salon Shoes, Multi-Channel Buy Planner for Women’s Contemporary Shoes and National Assistant Buyer Women's European Designer Sportswear. Stacy oversees branding and content creation. She works closely with all departments to ensure messaging is consistent. She also works closely with HR on corporate communications to keep employees engaged and morale up.
With over a decade experience in footwear, Stacy has worked for companies specializing in women and kids shoes. Before delving into footwear, she worked at large public relations agencies focusing on consumer media for Microsoft and Nintendo. Stacy joined Washington Shoe Company in 2014.

Kristin is responsible for all brick and mortar sales as well as new business development. She works with key accounts that span across a variety of retail divisions.
She started at Washington Shoe Company in 2004 as an intern right out of college. At the company she was able to learn all the facets of the footwear business before joining the sales team. She’s has had the pleasure of working with a vast majority of our customers and has made solid relationships over the years. She knows the retail landscape well and always puts the customer first.
